Introduction

Welcome to Raah-e-Shifa. By accessing our website, contacting our team, submitting your information, or requesting an appointment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

About Raah-e-Shifa

Raah-e-Shifa is a digital healthcare guidance and appointment coordination platform. We help patients identify a relevant medical specialist, check doctor availability, arrange appointments, and receive general direction regarding consultation, OPD, surgery guidance, and appropriate next steps.

Raah-e-Shifa is not a hospital, clinic, pharmacy, emergency service, diagnostic centre, or medical treatment provider.

Nature of Our Services

Our role is limited to:

  • Understanding the patient’s general health concern
  • Suggesting the type of specialist who may be relevant
  • Sharing available doctor or hospital options
  • Coordinating appointments
  • Providing general healthcare awareness and treatment-direction information

Any initial discussion with the Raah-e-Shifa team is for guidance and appointment coordination only. It does not constitute medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or a doctor-patient relationship.

Independent Doctors and Hospitals

Doctors, clinics, laboratories, surgical facilities, and hospitals introduced through Raah-e-Shifa are independent service providers. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Raah-e-Shifa unless expressly stated in writing.

Once an appointment is confirmed, all medical discussions, examinations, diagnosis, prescriptions, procedures, surgery decisions, consent, fees, treatment plans, and follow-up care are matters directly between the patient and the relevant doctor or healthcare facility.

Medical Responsibility and Disclaimer

Raah-e-Shifa does not practise medicine and does not control or supervise the clinical decisions of doctors or hospitals.

Raah-e-Shifa does not guarantee:

  • A particular diagnosis or treatment result
  • The success of any medicine, procedure, or surgery
  • The availability of a doctor or hospital at all times
  • That a particular doctor or treatment will be suitable for every patient
  • Recovery within any specific period

The treating doctor and healthcare facility remain responsible for medical assessment, informed consent, prescriptions, treatment, surgery, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Raah-e-Shifa will not be responsible for loss, injury, complication, delay, misdiagnosis, treatment outcome, professional negligence, hospital service, medicine reaction, surgical result, or any other clinical matter arising from services independently provided by a doctor, hospital, laboratory, pharmacy, or other healthcare provider.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising directly from Raah-e-Shifa’s own fraud, wilful misconduct, or proven negligence.

No Emergency Services

Raah-e-Shifa is not an emergency medical service.

For severe pain, breathing difficulty, unconsciousness, heavy bleeding, chest pain, stroke symptoms, pregnancy emergencies, serious injury, or any life-threatening condition, contact the nearest emergency department or local emergency service immediately. Do not wait for a website response, callback, or appointment confirmation.

Patient Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Inform the doctor about relevant medical history, allergies, medicines, and previous treatment
  • Verify the doctor, hospital, fees, and treatment details before proceeding
  • Attend appointments on time
  • Seek emergency care when required
  • Follow the treating doctor’s instructions responsibly
  • Obtain an independent second opinion where necessary

Raah-e-Shifa is not responsible for consequences resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or withheld information provided by a patient.

Appointment Availability

Appointment requests are subject to doctor schedules, hospital availability, location, and confirmation.

Submitting a form, WhatsApp message, or telephone request does not automatically confirm an appointment. An appointment is confirmed only after confirmation by Raah-e-Shifa, the doctor, or the relevant facility.

Doctors may reschedule, delay, or cancel appointments due to emergencies or operational reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to inform the patient and assist with an alternative appointment.

Fees and Payments

Consultation, hospital, investigation, procedure, surgery, medicine, and other healthcare charges may be determined by the relevant doctor or facility.

Where Raah-e-Shifa collects an appointment or service-related payment, the amount, purpose, refund conditions, and applicable charges will be communicated before payment.

Payments made directly to a doctor, hospital, laboratory, pharmacy, or other provider are governed by that provider’s own billing and refund policies.
